Council tidy-up notices
Got a council letter about your block?
Copper Coast Council inspects vacant land in October and November. If a block is overgrown, the owner may get a Flammable Undergrowth Notice (Section 105F). It gives you 14 days to cut grass and undergrowth down to 10 cm. Blocks over one hectare need a 5 m cleared strip (a fuel break) instead. If the work isn't done, Council can send its own contractor and charge the owner.

Common questions
I've got a council letter. What do I do?
Send Brad the block's address and the due date on the letter using the enquiry form at the bottom of this page, or text him a photo of the letter on 0498 837 011. He'll let you know when he can get there.
How much does slashing or spraying cost?
Every block is different. The price depends on the size of the block, how long the grass is, access, and whether there's rubbish or rocks to work around. Send the address, and a photo if you can, and Brad will give you a quote.
Can I send photos of my block?
Yes. Text photos of the block or your council letter to 0498 837 011. It helps Brad quote faster.
Do you do regular visits?
Yes. As well as one-off jobs, Brad does regular slashing, spraying and mowing for homes, rentals and holiday homes. Choose "Regular visits" under "How often?" in the enquiry form.
